Scandinavian Airlines System a.k.a. SAS felt they had their payment terminals out of date and hard to use, their user had to go for a small course in order to use them, which cost them time and money.
So they came to me to create a easier and better solution for this and present it.
The solution was to create a smaller touch screen terminal that learned from the user, which items were most sold and which not, and then organizing accordingly, so if a certain item for example, overweight luggage were the most sold in a certain area, it would appear on the top, and the lesser on the bottom.
It could as well by identifing the area it was on and showing only the relevent products, such as in de-icing process there would be no need for the luggage products to appear since this as nothing to do in that area.
The project was presented and delivered to SAS which was well received, the project was sent on for development process.
note: only part of the presentation is showed here.
